It's been over 2 years since our last visit here, it was a terrible; both food and service. Today was AMAZING. Great food and our waiter was awesome. So happy I gave On The Border another chance, will definitely return soon.

I have had the opportunity to eat at MANY of the On The Board restaurants in my travels, and I can say that this one was the worst visit that I have ever had. The enchilada's that I ordered, I have had previously at another location. The center was cool to tepid, and the overall dish lacked flavor. The chicken had the consistency of something that was taken out of a can. The texture was mealy and poor. There was no real flavor to the meat. While the server was quite friendly, that cannot make up for what was essentially a very poorly prepared meal out of the kitchen. Unfortunately, there is NOT a way to give a zero star rating. I will not be back to this location.

Terrible service. It was the second time in a row that we had the same waitress. She forgot to bring us drinks and sauce for our tacos. Went to check on two other tables before getting the things we asked for that SHE forgot. There was not a manager around to check on us. Service and food was slow. We got our tacos but no rice or beans. After we asked about it, she brought us a bowl of each that we had it scoop out onto our plates. We found out only at our next visit that it was part of the endless rice and beans but she never explained that. We won't be back anytime soon.

We enjoy when we're in town and can visit on the border. The food is good, and we are fans of both the salsa and the queso. All of our food was cooked properly, and it tasted really good. I also tried a margarita, and that was unfortunately the worst part. It didn't taste fresh which makes me think they use a pre-made mix which tastes fake. Other than that, we couldn't complain.

Mexican food. More expensive than most places. Las Americas has better food at a lower price.
