The best kept secret in town when it comes to Mexican food. The corn tortilla tacos are fabulous!

Wish I could give 0 stars. The Shrimp in the cocktel was mushy and raw. The El pastor tacos mexicana were fatty and flavorless had not been marinaded, it was just cooked unseasoned pork, disgusting. The salsa was bland. We regret wasting our time and money.

Everything except the refried beans were delicious. Service was fast and the food came out quickly.

(Please read the full review to see why there's 3 stars here) This review is about a 6 years overdue so I suppose it's time to give my take. I have been eating at this restaurant (Including the location on Albert Pike) probably enough times to have eaten in every seat they have in the place about 3-5 times over, and it's safe to say i'm a creature of habit when it comes to eating at places I like. The food is great and it has three televisions inside the building, one for each angle of the walls. Their beer is ice cold and comes in big servings. With that being said I got a couple of gripes as of late. Part of it is the location unfortunatly, they dont have their own bathrooms so you have to use the gas station's next door and trust me, you're better off wetting your pants than using them. Another complaint I have sadly is the price. Over the years they have what seems like almost doubled their prices, I know that's a sign of the times, however it is still to be noted you can almost eat at a larger, more well known chain for the same price if not cheaper. I will and still eat there quite often, but I do wish things could be better where they are possible.
