What can you say about IHOP? The only time I eat at IHOP is if I am drunk and partying and they're the only place open or their competitor. The other time that I eat IHOP is when I am working at my office late and I do mean late and that's what I'll write a review about. Due to the nature of owning and working your own business there are at times when I am forced to stay all night at my office traditional food is closed and I hop is the next best choice. So after I finished all my work I order from IHOP for carryout. Take it to my zero gravity chair and enjoy while watching TV just before taking a short nap and starting the next day. My last three visits for this purpose or perfect. Staff was nice food was cooked quickly and adequately. I used to go there late when I was a student and study and drink coffee and eat flapjacks. We do have a very clean IHOP for an IHOP. It's in the heart of Central Avenue and the center of town ironically that is literally just across Central Avenue from where I work. The staff was a little pushy about me paying first instead of when I got my food I guess it was somebody new that didn't understand that I was good for it even if it was 10 days later but either way they made sure that I had everything I needed and never left anything out it was simple flapjacks with a side of ham and two eggs sunny-side up. It's pretty hard to screw that up and so they didn't can't comment on the local staff as you sit down as I haven't done that in a very long time at least 5 years. But their carryout is perfect. I'm not sure if four stars is too much or if it is just right they are not a five-star cuisine or a 5-star review but they did their job and they did their job well it's hard to ask for much more than that and in my opinion that's a minimum three star review and so I would also call that a four star review.

Service is always good this time of night. (1:30 a.m.) Great food too. No complaints if you can tolerate the occasional late night bar crowd making their stop on the way home. Harmless people. Quiet town. No drama. Huge step up from waffle house by the track. I did not tell you in this IHOP post, but, the waffle house past the mall on the left is the best late night breakfast spot. The only thing is the distance. Back to the IHOP.. Our waitress (Micky) Ask for her. She always has a great attitude. Good customer service -thejennys

Had dinner with the family here tonight. I am on the keto diet so doing low carb is very important to me. I requested my omelette be made without the pancake batter. Waitress brought the family's food out but my omelette was going to be a few more minutes. We could hear from our table, the waitress arguing with the cook. The cook made the omelette with the batter and he told her to give it to me anyways and lie to me by saying it didn't have the batter. Major kudos to the waitress for not listening to him... but with all of that being said... I have lost my trust in coming to this restaurant. What if I had a waitress that would have followed what the cook had said? I'd rather not risk it and my family and I will not be coming back here :( Shame because otherwise, everything else was great.

So I went back tonight. Order was wrong. I ordered the cheese Blitz. They gave me two so I mentioned it and they brought me a third. Instead of the sweet cream cheese I got cottage cheese inside of my Crepes yuck. There was salad in what was supposed to be just a raspberry sauce. Which also had cherries and I later found out chocolate chips. I don't like chocolate. The eggs and sausage I had we're good. The service was ok. Not really quick, but no super slow. But seriously the crates seem like they were just throwing whatever they could find into it. I wasn't able to finish them because by the time I hit the chocolate I was just too grossed out.
