Server was awesome. Let us taste the wines ahead of time. Excellent food and service. Would like to be more clear on what foods are fried on the menu ahead of time. We will return next time we are in town.

Great food in a nice atmosphere. A hole in wall. I had been meaning to try it for a long time. I was not disappointed. All of the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were great- enough for leftovers the next day. They brought out a new bottle of Chianti when I ordered a glass- the waiter said there was only a little left in the other bottle, so they would use it for cooking. I just thought the overall experience was attentive and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Extremely delicious and beautifully arranged entrees. Superb appetizers. Outstanding service. Nice, relaxing environment. Highly recommend anything on the menu.

I recently ate here with a group and was extremely underwhelmed by the flavor, resolution of issues (mentioned later), and wait time for food. First, someone in our group had a large beetle or cockroach in his wine! Although this was shocking, these things happen. We decided to stay regardless since we were a large group, but management’s handling of the situation was unacceptable. There was no apology. His meal was not comped. We didn’t even see the manager. We didn’t even know if they threw the old bottle out! Their solution was to carry on as if nothing had happened. After the extremely long wait time for our food, the meals were all cold and flavorless. My Pasta Elizabeth was missing the capers, had no salt, and no part of the dish was remotely warm. I didn’t complain because I didn’t want to wait another hour for another mediocre dish. I just wanted to leave. I was hoping we caught Ciao on a bad night, but other reviews make me think Ciao is consistently disappointing. If you don’t mind long waits, flavorless “Italian” food, dingy dining areas, poor management, and roaches in your wine, then you should give Ciao a shot.
