My husband and I decided to try this very popular restaurant on the urging of so many.. it's easy to see why.. the staff is incredibly friendly and the food is consistent and simple! Their chicken is perfectly cooked, although we did have pieces that tasted like burnt oil..I'm not a fan of instant mashed potatoes nor canned veggies.. their slaw was good! Overall, we probably won't be back.. But for the price, even though it's all you can eat.. the food just did not match the price.. and 2.49 for a drink and dessert is also extra! It's busy for a reason.. go, you may like it!

The atmosphere evokes strong nostalgia for my own childhood, but also the charming early agrarian South. The waitstaff are always brimming with enthusiasm and patience. Since developing my tastebuds past the age of 10, however, I've found most of the food to be tragically underseasoned. Easily remedied with salt and pepper but it really ought not be necessary to begin with. That said, the bean soup is phenomenal, the chicken is breaded to a flawless, deafening crunch. Blueberry cheesecake worth saving as much room as you possibly can for. Many vegetarian items, an uncommon feature in comfort food joints.

Monte Ne Inn Chicken is to die for! If you like a good home cooking meal, you need to come here. Unlimited fried chicken, mash potatoes and gravy, bread, soup, and so much more! Also, make sure you get some blackberry cobbler, because it will remind you of your grandmother's cobbler.

Family style chicken dinner with all the trimmings. No menu. All you can eat absolutely delicious southern fried chicken. Located in the historic community of Monte Ne, most of which was demolished in the creation of Beaver Lake.

The best restaurant if you wanna go back in time and feel like you are at Grandma's house ! You get a small bowl of fried chicken ,the best green beans EVER, mashed potatoes , white gravy ,delicious home made cole slaw, soft and squishy delicious home made bread loaf , and corn . You pass the bowls around just like at Grandma's and they are endless bowls refilled for you before they are empty! Then you realize there was a Lot of food in those seemingly small bowls ! Delicious. MAKE RESERVATIONS , they are mandatory .
