Fantastic barbeque! As good as it gets! Service sucks whether you eat there or call it in. Don't be in a hurry. It is not a fast food place. Understood. But 2 hours when all you have to do is slap the already prepared meat on a bun? No way. If I'm going to spend that kind of money and time I'll eat at a fine dining establishment with wine, candlelight, and cloth napkins. Very disappointed in the service.

We drive 1.5 hrs to eat here. It is the best BBQ in the south. Ribs are phenomenal!! 25 dollars for rib plate, don't let that scare your, it's plenty for 2 people. A pile of ribs. It's so worth it. Love eating here!

Parking was free and the building is wheelchair accessible. The building was crowned; however, our group of nine adults and two children were seated together. The meal portions were very generous. The atmosphere was suitable for a college crowd and adaptable to older clientele i.e., us. It was difficult for a member of our group to locate the business from the road. There is limited table service. The employees were courteous and knowledgeable about were courteous and knowledgeable about the menu choices.

It's not cheap and you might have to wait but it's well worth the money and well worth the wait! It's the best barbecue I have ever had especially the ribs. Their pies are homemade and none can compare! Lots of varieties to choose from. I can usually make two meals off of one sandwich plate because they load it with meat!

The Smoked Turkey sandwich is amazing. I'm always the guy who gets the "weird thing" wherever I go eat. Glad I was feeling like chowing down on some post-thanksgiving-leftovers vibe.
