Never very crowded during the week days. Great service, but found the food less than desirable.

I took my son for his 22nd birthday and what a disappointment. After 35 minutes and a second reminder the manager brought the food instead. By then we were hungry and I did not want to make a big deal on my son's birthday (besides my son choose to go to Hooters for his Birthday dinner) The curly fries were soggy as if it was sitting on the plate for while before it was served. We could not continue eating the 2 plates of fries - what a waste. It was a Monday and it wasn't crowded either so i don't see any reason for the food to be served that late. My wife noticed that the next table were served very fast - so much so that they left before food could be served for us. I would not have written this review it it had not been a special occasion. Though my son did not talk about it but i could see in his eyes that he was disappointed with the birthday dinner choice. This birthday will always remain unforgettable and disappointed birthday celebration. It will be my first and my last Hooters meal.

We decided to stop here and drink after st Patrick’s day parade. There were 7 of us ( 4 kids 3 adults). I specifically told the hostess we probably won’t eat but we are drinking, however we clearly can’t sit at the bar (having children with us). She stood there and looked off into the dining area for a few minutes, and then she said hang on, walked to her manager, who was standing where I could clearly see their conversation. The manager shakes her head no. So the hostess takes the 10 steps it takes to get back in front of me, and says “it’s going to be at least a 30 min wait”. Me being a little confused because, there was CLEARLY AT LEAST 5 tables we could sit at inside, and plenty of seating outside, I say “wait, are you serious? There’s clearly tables!?”. She responds with “yes, we can’t sit you”. I’m DUMB founded!!! I didn’t know what to say, I just looked back and forth at her and all the empty tables and said “seriously” again. She says “yes” with a ‘get out mannerism’. I was upset, so I stormed out like I’m sure any other human being would. I’m still upset! This is ridiculous! I will NEVER eat or drink at this hooters again in my life, I’m not sure if this was a profiling issue or what. I’m completely dumbfounded that they would turn down money. We had all intentions of drinking just like every other person in there, and I’m sure it wouldn’t have been long until one of the children wanted food. This is the WORST! ABSOLUTE WORST, service, and I couldn’t even get to a table, so I’m sure the actual service being a customer isn’t much better.
