Food was phenomenal. Enjoyed every bite. And the young lady that took my order was very friendly. She has a beautiful smile . I was feeling somewhat down when I entered, but seeing a friendly smile was exactly what I needed. I had a dollar bill in my wallet that was folded to look like a mini shirt that I gave her as a gift of appreciation. . I wanted to brighten her day as she did mine.THE WORLD NEEDS MORE PEOPLE LIKE THIS .

Great service, nice people. The cheese on my kids grilled cheese wasn't even melted. My full salad was just barely bigger than a side salad. For all of that, my wife said her catfish/shrimp combo was good. My salad tasted delicious but it was not an $8 salad in terms of size to price. Not much pulled pork. Disclaimer: we did get there an hour and a half before closing time on a. Holiday.

Love this place, particularly for breakfast! Good old fashion southern diner, low key friendly staff and good food! Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it's all superb. I wouldn't recommend this place for the health connoisseur, but for anyone seeking a good down home southern meal, then this is the place.

3/16/18 Dined here for first time. Will not be returning. Entered a nearly empty restaurant, 3 other tables, was told to sit anywhere. Three waitresses then forgot we had arrived. Had to flag someone down to order. Tried to order white beans from the menu was told by the waitress they don’t have that and rudely “I don’t know why that’s on there”. Food was passable, but not worth what they are charging. Took too long to settle the check. No one seemed to know, nor much care, who our server was supposed to be and we felt forgotten. Bathrooms were dirty, floors were sticky, booths were broken and uncomfortable

Food was good but took a long time to get our party's food as there was only one cook. Floor was so greasy that we were afraid we would slip and fall. There was no baby changing facilities. When asked if they had facilities the hostess apologized but then freaked out when we said we were going to change the baby, on a blanket, on a booth bench. It was pouring outside so going to the car was not an option. It seemed like there was no senior managers there--just a young hostess, the cook, and maybe one or two other younger people running the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon.
