Midtowne location is much better at preparing the food. Totally different flavor at Chenal location...not a good one, either. But, they do include all necessary items in a take out order. And, ready very fast, too! Just weird taste to usually exceptional food. Even the edamame was not exactly right texture...soggy and on slimy side. My meal had a ton of peanuts and sauce but not many vegetables and i ordered extra! No wonder dining room was almost empty at dinner rush hour!!

I keep coming back to this Pei Wei not because of the food (although the food is good!), but because of the staff. Every time I've been here they have been kind, helpful, and professional. I'm pretty sure the manager checks on every person's meal to make sure it's just right- and that's kind of special these days, especially in a chain restaurant.

Have tried to call twice to this place to make an order and no one answered. Enjoy their food at other locations but this one sucks. Go to A.W Lins across the street....they have good food and they answer their phones!

Crazies experience in a restaurant in my life. Stopped by last Friday evening on our way home to grab some dinner. Placed our order and then quickly realized that there was some issues going on. Orders were messed up and people had been waiting for their food for some time. My wife and I were not in a huge hurry so we just sat and talked for a bit waiting. 30 minutes -40 minutes then an hour before our food came out. In that time, the servers were yelling at the cooks and the cooks were yelling at the servers. Customers were yelling and the place was out of control. People were leaving without their food and many times without even getting a refund. The owner should be forced to work there until it is under control and civil. The food was over cooked and the place was pretty dirty. I left a message for the Owner to call me, contacted the corporate head quarters and got NO RESPONSE. Guess this is the norm.

We called to make sure their posted hours (closing at 10 pm) were correct. The phone rang for over 5 minutes, they never answered it. We drove 20 minutes to get there, arrived at 9:07 pm, only to be told they closed at 9 pm. We asked about their posted hours online and told them we tried calling ahead. The very nonchalant employee replied, "I'm sorry, they never update our hours; and we were swamped and couldn't answer the phones." "I'm sorry" doesn't make up for our wasted time and gas to drive that far. We dined at the Big Orange Midtown instead, they never disappoint.
