While this is not a five star hotel the service and accommodations where superb. The hotel is older but very comfortable. We both slept very well. And even though the highway is close we could hear no traffic noises. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. In fact we have now stayed here twice!

You can't beat this stay for the price. At all, ever. For 50 bucks you'd expect a pretty sub-par experience. Not here. Rooms are nicely renovated, updated and super clean. Now you know why most 50 dollar motels keep the curtains closed on the rooms. River Rock Inn keeps the curtains open so you can see how nice the rooms are. What a pleasant experience!!!

Rooms have been updated but still a little ways to go but priced right. The water doesn't get very hot, there is no microwave, the wifi is horrible on the right side of the hotel, housekeeping missed a day of my stay, the breakfast at the hotel isn't comp but amazing food and the people are all wonderful, and the tv is an old box style... not really a big deal but needed to say it. Good thing is that they truly try to update the rooms to the best of their ability, beds are comfortable, and customer service was great.

I was impressed with the wait staff, they were attentive and friendly. I was not impressed with the food. Omelets are not supposed to be brown. The size was generous but there was little in the way of veggies, etc in it. So, omelet overcooked-hash browns undercooked. Hash BROWNS means brown potatoes. The coffee was bitter. All in all, etable but mediocre.

Old Holiday Inn, they've done a great job with an older property. Check in was smooth, restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch but there are other options for dinner within walking distance. This is an excellent property for the price. No hot water in room 103..that lost a star.
