We came to visit Mountain Home for a week and ate at Holy Smokes twice! Great smoked meat (we had ribs, pulled pork, and beef brisket), yummy BBQ sauces, plentiful portions, and fantastic sides (favorite is Brent's potato salad). And...if you like dessert, top your meal off with the scrumptious peanut butter pie!! A bit off the beaten path, so be sure to look it up.

Deliciousness!! large portions also... enough to share with my 8 yr old daughter. We are visitors from Iowa...she commented on how busy it was and she thought it would be a big reastraunt... I told her the best food in a newly discovered town is usually the least known tourist attraction and doesn't have to be fancy and to always ask the locals when she gets old enough to travel alone. The place was very busy @ 3 in the afternoon, phone ringing off the hook, people coming in picking up orders and coming in to eat. The two kitchen staff were super friendly & fast! Will def eat here again.

had dinner there tonight. Nice clean place. We enjoyed our food and found it easy to get into with my wheelchair. Mostly young families. The Mac 'N cheese was creamy and cheesy. The parking lot is paved, but a bit dark. There is a wheelchair ramp on the South side of the building. We will go there again some time.

Holy Smokes is a fantastic establishment. The ribs were finger licking awesome, and the potato salad and beans were out of the park good. We had a waitress who was great. We could tell they were short-handed, but that didn’t stop the service from being great and the food being delicious!
