Greasy, dirty, and slow. We stopped for a quick lunch in the midst of a busy day. Most chain restaurants in small towns are operated with a higher level of care than you find in a big city. Not here. The table where we sat was greasy, literally. In order to eat quickly, both of us ordered salads, which still too more than ten minutes to make. The food was average but the service was abysmal. I guess I understand now why there were few cars in the lot even though it was the middle of the lunch hour. My advice: keep on going to the excellent local restaurants elsewhere in Covington.

My recent visit was wonderful. Great host, great waiter and one of the best managers in a few years! Until just recently, I wasn't too eager to go back, but now the restaurant has changed, as well as my attitude. Keep up the great service and food!!

I have been to this location on multiple occasions. When it first opened it was good and service was fast. Every time after that it has progressively gotten worse. My most recent trip will be my last. 20 minutes to get our drink order, another 10 minutes to get drinks and about 45 minutes to get two wrong orders from the kitchen. One order sent back and when brought back from kitchen was almost the same as when returned. It seemed like none of the staff was concerned whether we were taken care of from drinks to food, including the manager. Burger King is just across the road and better service.

Our service was ok. But the food was awful out of 4 of us not one meal was well enough to eat. Then they fire a woman in front of us, and she begain cuzxing and screaming where my two girls under 8 could hear. All we got was a sorry have a great night. Well that will be the last time we waste our money there. Pretty bad u spend $55, and we have to leave an het something else for dinner.

TERRIBLE worst service I've experienced in a long time!! They were playing music that was COMPLETELY inappropriate for a family restaurant. Every table around us was full of dirty dishes. The fork I was given was dirty and it took 20 minutes to get a new one. If we asked for anything it was like we were bothering the waitress. The food was the ONLY thing half decent about the whole experience! I will NEVER go back to this Applebee's again!
