Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings

It seems like every other time I go here, they mess something up with my order. I’ve been very forgiving in the past, but things have to change. The most recent time I’ve went, they COMPLETELY FORGOT an entire meal and extra sauce that I paid for. They didn’t just forget to bag it, they didn’t even cook it! Luckily I’ve gotten so used to them screwing up that I check my food before I leave. Also, I’ve had many occurrences of getting old chicken from here. Chicken that you can easily tell has been out for too long and isn’t fresh. Chicken that’s made me sick before...something has to give here!

I always have loved zaxbys because of my love for some good chicken and I haven’t had a problem in the past, maybe since late 2017, but here lately, things have just been bothering me, especially with the whole “customer service” attitude here recently. My boyfriend and I love to come here for a quick bite when we haven’t had dinner yet, and MULTIPLE times we have came around 8:45-9 (closing is at ten) and it Takes forever... but they’re not always that busy? When we get our food it’s not that fresh and we now have gotten smart and do “bag checks” to make sure we have everything in the bag. I’d say 7/10 times I’ve had to go back inside to get food, or an extra sauce that I pay for! It’s frusturating and I’ve had way better experiences at different zaxbys locations, something about the Paragould one though. I was very frusturated in one situation when I went inside due to a long drive through line and my bad experiences there and was taken aback when the young man who took my order was very anxious, forgetting little things, and even rolled his eyes at an elderly couple who was getting closer to the counter for an easier view at the menu!! I chuckled because I thought maybe he was a new employee and was forgetting the most basic things, but that’s when I saw his name tag and it said “enriching lives since 2017”. This kid was all over the place. At the bare minimum, if he started on December 31, 2017 that means he’s been working for at least 4 months. Hopefully he wasn’t like this all the time. Went to go grab some condiments and refill my drink and him and his buddies were behind the counter talking about who knows what but cussing fairly loudly, but there’s Christian music playing? All I’m saying, pick up the game, pick up the customer service. I happen to work in customer service myself and know what the expectations should be.

They serve great food alongside great service, I've never had a problem ordering from them or with the food. Probably one of my favorite places to get food with friends around town, as the inside is very inviting and comfortable.

I tried the zensation salad and was not disappointed. I have anaffinity for asian flavor and this salad is loaded with it. The citrus vinaigrette topped off an excellent blend of greens, including fresh cabbage. The chicken was spot on as it always is here and the honey- sesame glaze rounded out what is a top 3 salad for me period. I would like to mention that the wonton strips and eggroll made it perfect for my tastebuds.

Great food, excellent service. Great value!
