Amazing food. Friendly helpful staff. Love this place

Ok, so we were early. Nasty cold, COLD, food. Wait person acknowledged our dismay. So, to remedy they refried tempura chicken. Poured some sort of heated sauce on the old worn chicken broccoli. No names. At check out not a word exchanged and I said, this has been terrible experience. Full charge, person taking money say ' no problem, no problem nobody ever critical of her food', you go other place you don't like here.' Well ok then. We should have gone on to Zebra Rock Cafe. Sigh. But, the ice water was nice. Yes, of course we left a tip, not that person's fault.

This place is hit or miss. When they are good, they are REALLY good. Honestly, if you go there as soon as it opens for the buffet, then the food is fresh and delicious. The buffet runs all day and evening but if you go there at 2 or 3 in the afternoon, then the food is all dried up and stuck the pans... obviously left over from the lunch buffet. Same goes for the evening....if you go around 5 or 6pm, it is pretty good and fresh but after 7 pm it is all dried up.
