Food is delicious and one of my favorite places to eat in town. The only thing is that the tables, bbq bottles and booths are sticky. Like they aren’t cleaned well enough. The owner is always very nice. However, during the busiest times of the day he has his “office” set up in one of the front booths. I feel like maybe he should sit towards the back and leave the convenient seats for customers. Seating is already limited. I wish this place was bigger.

The BBQ has gone downhill since the new owners took over. The meat (beef brisket and pulled pork) is gristley, tough, and less smoky. The sauce is more watery and a bit closer to Carolina sauce than the original thick Old Post sauce. The twice baked potatoes are swimming in grease since they added meat pieces to it. Bad idea: crisp bacon on top is good but gristley, greasy meat inside is bad. Old Post used to be our favorite. Now we prefer Fat Daddy's by a long shot.

Super cool vibe as you walk in the door: Warm greeting, friendly staff, stack of newspapers by door, good music playing, local school sports supported, check out the light fixture in the WC, paper towels on point everywhere, u feel like having some BBQ and Beers just being here! We wanted this place to be awesum because it could be!, HOWEVER, my brisket was tender but flavorless, wings have great flavor but dried out, (except for the last order on 3rd visit, those were Great! Their BBQ sauces are top notch, They are obviously trying here and we hope the food gets better as we would love to make this a regular stop. This place SHOULD be packed on a Friday night!

Ok updating my review due to two instances of problems with call in orders. First time we didn't get toast, no biggie there. They did correct it with next order but then on that one they didn't put any sauce on my barbeque. And when we called about it my wife got hung up on and she called back and heard someone say just hang up. Not very good customer service. The food is still excellent but that just ruined it for us eating there.
