Always love Cracker Barrell. Especially their lemonade! It's really great when you first get there, with a nice frosted mug. The okra is really good too; not too heavy. Really nice service, and fun to shop around the gift shop. I really recommend their "Grandpa Soap" it makes your skin so soft!

We usually don't stop at chain food, but we were with company who wanted to come here. We arrived at a quiet time and was seated immediately. Our server was friendly and attentive. They still had the old faithful menu I remembered from a few years ago, as well as some specials they were promoting. Very extensive menu, especially for breakfast. Our order came pretty fast, and was good. Not great, but good. The bacon was too extra crsipy, the biscuits looked completely different from what they used to serve, and the gravy had a slight skin on it when they set it at the table like it had set a while. But there was nothing bad about the food. I say, for a chain, this is a good choice. Our guest did inform us that a later stop sometimes produces less fresh food here, so maybe a good breakfast, brunch, lunch stop.

The shrimp was fairly good although it had more batter than i liked. The hash brown casserole was not good.the first serving was very dry. It had been sitting on the warmer too long. The replacement was barely warm. The kale salad was good

Got a take out order and was pretty frustrated because when I picked up the order the cashier said chicken fried steak, when I corrected her and said the order was supposed to be chicken fried chicken she quickly responded that she accidentally said it wrong, however I did receive the steak and the order was incorrect. That being said I moved far away from the south a few years ago and regardless of the unpleasntness of being denied my favorite entree, the service was exquisite and having some good ole green beans and fried okra is something I can never complain about. I probably would have accepted the steak and not required any correction on the order, but the fact that the cashier lied to my face was disappointing.

We stop and eat once a month. Two months ago, the waitress served us a lunch special for dinner, I have to drink water with my kidney problems. After we left, I read over our bill, she charged me as having a pop. Last month, I ordered a bowl of vegetable soup and it was COLD. My husband found a waitress, we told him, unfortunately, my husband had almost finished eating before I finally got one bowl of soup heated. I was very dissatisfied, taking such a long time receiving my order, the waiter was slow, which is fine,. The problem with this, they were NOT busy at all. Whenever we get to travel, we always stop at Cracker Barrel. I think it will be quite a while, before I stop in again. Sorry, but two times in a row was not a pleasant experience. Thank you.
