The food is really good, the best Italian in Central Arkansas as far as we are concerned. They also have the best Italian creme sodas, offer a traditional vanilla along with some fruit-flavored varieties, as well as offering without creme. They have healthy options, such as dinner salads and great soups. The prices are on the high end, though the dinners are wire large and you may consider splitting. There are some other frugal options, such as family meals that are a great option if you have a group and can decide on the same thing. 😋 Service is usually good, though we've had a few rough visits. We've had one server in particular a few times and she is just awesome! We've had a couple of other servers who just didn't seem to care. Really, I would rate another ⭐ if we had more good experiences. Facilities are always clean. It can get busy, although there have been times we expected it and it wasn't at all. We went late on a Sunday once, and it was packed later than usual. Not sure if there is even a pattern.

I'm usually a big fan of Johnny Carinos, but today we were very disappointed. Our food was barely warm and the bread was practically stale. Our waitress seemed to want to be somewhere else. Not to mention, multiple times serving drinks and food over our toddlers head and putting things in his reach. Now, I could possibly overlook some of this if the place would have been busy, but there were only 3 other tables with 2 people each at them and multiple servers available. For the price we paid for our entire meal, It's not worth it today. Very dissatisfied.

Johnny Carino's is pretty good but have been spoiled by Capeo and Bruno's. They are so much better and like you are visiting a little peace of Italy. So if looking in expense and Italian food then Johnny Carino's is the place to good but look for amazing Italian you need to go else where.

I used to love this place. The food was always amazing, the bread was delicious & the service was always good. This place has went down hill so much. We walked in and there was nobody in there, the hostess said she had to find us a table when there were open tables everywhere. It took her about 5 minutes just to come back and seat us. There were no chefs even in the kitchen and our waitress was rude from the beginning which caused us to walk out and leave. Terrible terrible service

Used to be one of our favorite Italian spots. This location needs a good cleaning and a retraining of staff. For the price paid on these dishes it all should have been a much better experience. Millennials are not killing chains, the chain restaurants are getting sloppy.
