I just got gas (a little after midnight) at Casey's in Siloam Springs. I pull up to the pump, put the nozzle in my vehicle and press 'pay here.' A female attendant announced on the loudspeaker, 'Pump 11, you need to come in and prepay.' I run in to pay and ask the male attendant if this is a new thing. He said it was at night only. But now I have to run back to the pump, put the nozzle back in the cradle and run back inside. I normally would fill up but didn't want to make yet another trip for change so I only bought $10. 1. I've never had to prepay before. I thought the policy of Casey's was for employees to not even tell customers to come inside to prepay after fueling (even though they still do it.) 2.If having customers prepay is the new policy, then shouldn't there be a sign that indicates this so as to eliminate any confusion and inconvenience? 3. I have been loyal to Casey's for 3 reasons: The attendants are always friendly; free air (on principle); and I don't have to prepay cash. I get that there are drive-offs but if Casey's requires prepayment then I no longer need to go out of my way to fill up there - on principle. It WAS nice to not be treated like a criminal based on behavior of others. I gave 4 stars only because of past good experiences
