Walking in for the first time, we were looking around awkwardly for what to do. Do we seat ourselves, or wait to be seated, or order at the counter? Another group came in behind us and we just copied what they did. Off to an unsure start, we ordered and were pleasantly surprised by how yummy all of our food was. We were really impressed with the red curry and pad Thai. Silk Road is a very solid lunch choice.

Silk Road is a middle of the road Thai restaurant. Not the best I’ve been too and far from the worst. They have a very extensive menu to choose from which is nice if you like variety. The decor is nothing fancy and the service is good enough. They usually run with two waitstaff so the service does suffer a little when they are busy. It’s certainly not a destination Thai restaurant but if you’re in Springdale and have a craving for Thai this place will do just fine in meeting it.

I had the Pad Thai, and it was delicious! I really like that they have photos in the menu of what many of the dishes look like, so you might be more willing to venture out and try something new!

Lightning speed service and the amount of food that you get for the amount of money that you pay is fantastical. My wife and I usually order to go from here every other Friday night, we get the pad Thai and the fresh spring rolls, and they have it ready in about 10 minutes. The food is excellent.

The staff is very friendly, food is always served fresh, and they give you very large portions. I always end up eating seconds at home :-). I took one star away based on the atmosphere. It’s clean, but not “cool”. This little “hole in the wall” is definitely worth a visit though. I Love the menu !
