This is a fabulous restaurant! Wonderful food all the way around. The shrimp cocktail was the best Iâ€™ve had, the side salad was crisp, the shrimp & gritsâ€”WOW!! Everyone I was with was very impressed with their entrees. Larry and his wife greeted us at the table. Great customer service! Then Larry started singing. Heâ€™s a must see. Your missing out if you donâ€™t come here!

What a delightful surprise and find. This a newly opened fine dining restaurant on Main St. in Old Downtown Van Buren, Ar. Went for Mother's Day Dinner. Glad we had reservations. First off they've done an outstanding decorating and seating areas. They have some really amazing photographs on the walls plus very tasteful art and paintings. Seating is spacious, plenty of elbow room. This only enhanced the gourmet buffet they had set up. Gourmet salads and appetizers followed by several choices of main dishes accompanied by yummy rolls, breads and other goodies. DON'T load up, save room for a selection of outstanding deserts. Oh, forgot to mention the great bar. But now for the really Big news, starting at 6pm on Tuesdays they have LIVE JAZZ and on Thursdays at 7pm a lot of golden oldies. This is a REALLY special place. Not to be MISSED

This place has been open for 2 or 3 weeks, and it seems like they have worked out some kinks since some of the earlier reviews. My daughter and I finally made it over for a light lunch today, but we plan to return soon for a full-blown dinner. We were downtown on a Saturday for the jazz festival and some shopping and decided to pop in. We were greeted happily and seated promptly. We felt a little under-dressed for the decor (t-shirts and jeans), but immediately felt at home. We were both pleased with the kids' menu, which included options of a hamburger, grilled cheese, chicken tenders, or a waffle, all for $3.50. My daughter ordered the chicken tenders and called them "the best chicken in the world", and she's not predisposed to such effusive language - they were DELICIOUS. The fries were also tasty. I was not very hungry and had the $7 caesar salad, which was fresh and about what I expected, with a nice added touch of avocado. Our server, Carolyn, was very friendly and helpful, making for a enjoyable lunch all around. She told us about the music and dancing on Thursday through Saturday nights. We're excited to return to try some broader offerings, but we were so pleased with our experience, and we hope this place will stick around for a long time. You certainly can't beat their kids' meals, which offer home-cooked fare at the same cost as a Happy Meal.

Renown Chef James Thomas Sr., with a storied and exquisite Fianna Hills Country Club cooking background, has partnered with Larry B. to bring you the perfect match of great food and entertainment. Whether you are ordering the signature Chicken and Waffles, Crab Cake, or Grilled Chops, you will wipe your plate clean and truly enjoy the atmosphere. Chef-In-Training James Thomas Jr., namesake to the Chef, also does a great job of plating and ensuring each meal is great to the last bite. Not pricey, but food items are priced accordingly to the texture, ambience, and quality of ingredients! Make sure you place a reservation as Friday and Saturday nights can be packed from wall to wall! A must try for all NW Arkansas, Ft. Smith, and Van Buren residents! Enjoy!
