Awkward service. Two in our party, and seated quickly, but not even greeted for about 10 minutes. After being greeted, we ordered drinks, and then another waitress greeted us and asked for our drink order. The sushi(that I ordered as a meal) was brought out well in advance before my guest’s meal, so she had to watch me eat while waiting for her meal. The sushi was nothing to be impressed about. It didn’t have a fresh taste. You just don’t get what you pay for here.

Has gone downhill since change in ownership, ayce sushi has been eliminated, and prices are much higher. The food was good as well as the service. But when we tried to pay we were told giftcards are no longer accepted and were given a number to call. The number was disconnected. When I called the number on the gift card it was the number to the restaurant. I was told by the hostess that the manager "was uninterested in helping us". We have been coming here for at least 10 years but will not be returning.

I love Yamato's! I've been going there for years now. The staff is always so friendly and great! There sushi is so great and fresh, the #8 roll is my favorite. Teppan dining is a great time for any occasion! It's so fun and entertaining. All around wonderful place with wonderful people! I highly recommend coming here for any occasion(:

Seems to be under new ownership. Staff is all new, food tastes different. Waiters seem to be rude now, fighting with each other. Very disappointed that they seem to have gotten rid of almost all of the old staff. We came here for years and now we will not be returning.

This place appears to be under new ownership - and what a mess. The bathrooms are in dire need of cleaning, the waiters inattentive, inexperienced, and disorganized. The orders placed all arrived with small but noteworthy errors; no wasabi was given with the sushi ordered, salad was served twice (once with the wrong dressing), and instead of Beef Teppanyaki, we received Teriyaki Beef.
