Jim's is an Alameda institution. Come here if you want no fuss food served quickly. Service is fairly good and their selling point is They slang your food out with a quickness. They don't have real maple syrup, their waffle is golden brown but oddly floppy, but the bacon is almost always crispy and cooked well, and they have hash browns that don't taste like 20 year old caked on griddle grease. Kid's portions can be quite large.

Loved it. Great service - very attentive. I ordered Jim's Super Sandwich; fantastic. Loved every bite. Great portions. Wife ordered French Toast - No complaints there. All-around great. Next time I'm on The Island, we'll def be back to Jim's.

Super fast and friendly service. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. Considering how busy Easter Sunday is, I was very surprised at their speed! The food was fresh and tasty.
