Small place with unique heavy wooden chairs that you can hardly slide. The price seemed a bit high but I am not from the large city and maybe that is normal for there. It was $6 just for a side cucumber salad. The dish turned out to be big enough for two to share. The yogurt sauce was sweet which surprised me and was too sweet for my taste. My husband loved the borscht soup and the homemade sausages he ordered. I ordered the cabbage rolls which turned out to be in a tangy/sweet sauce which, again, was not my favorite. But I am a picky eater so you may live it. My husband's meal came with a slice of rye bread that is shipped from Lithuania. It had a unique flavor I've not tasted before. I tried the "healthful" Amber tea. It was expensive at $6. As the waitress described, it really didn't have any flavor so hope it did my body some good as promised.

Such good fresh different food. Very authentic. The honey cake was amazing. The dumplings potato and flour are both amazing. The sausages were delicious too! All good!

Really delicious COMFORT food. Taste like HOMEMADE, the way my Grandmother cooked, except with an Eastern European flare. I love the borscht (soup) with unbelievably good dark brown (rye?) bread. Ask for butter for your bread. The coffee is one of my favorites. They put the ground coffee in the bottom of your cup and pour hot water over it. You have to wait about 5 minutes for the grounds to settle - but. It is worth it.

Real mama and papa shop. Food made with love. Adventurous menu that stays true to tradition and doesn't pander to popular fare. Love the decor. And the beer garden is awesome. Great place for a dining experience and a pretty solid place for a down to earth date.

Delicious! Unexpected. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Warm and comforting food with old world charm.
