China Village is a rare Chinese restaurant in that it's both clean and delicious. Sounds like an oxymoron, right? But really it's a great place to eat on Solano and it's well staffed. The head waiter loves kids and seems to always talk to them. There are lots of families that come to this restaurant, so bring your kids. You can get anything from hard core Chinese dishes that don't smell great, but taste awesome to very Americanized chicken chow mein. They serve everyone with a smile here.

The food is generally good, you probably won’t be terribly disappointed whatever you order. But, with one or two exceptions, most servers are borderline rude. Try to get a smile out of the owner, who keeps walking the floor, and it will probably snow that day. And, speaking of snow, I wouldn’t recommend going there on a cold day, because they don’t believe in heating. Bring an extra jacket, and sit as close to the kitchen as you can. Finally, like in most Asian (and American in general) places, they bring you the bill before you even ask for it. In a nutshell, if you just want to eat good Chinese food, you should go. (And then get the 1000 chili pepper fish soup, it is heavenly!) But if you want an enjoyable evening, think twice before you go.

It was my family’s first time here & we loved everything we ordered & we ordered a lot. It was my mother in laws 80th birthday & the bitter melon dish made her very happy. The cocktails were awesome also. Great staff & great price for all the food & drinks we ordered. Definitely going back.

I DON'T LIKE BEING RIPPED OFF. $39.95 FOR A WHOLE LOBSTER IS HIGH BUT NOT OUTRAGEOUS; WE GOT LESS THAN HALF A LOBSTER, CUT UP ON NOODLES. THAT'S OUTRAGEOUS!!!! THE ROAST DUCK WAS DRY AND OLD. TWO OTHER DISHES AND A SOUP WERE OK BUT NOTHING TO WRITE HOME ABOUT; OUR LOCAL CHINESE RESTAURANT IN KINGSTON, NY IS BETTER. I HAD EATEN THERE A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AND IT WAS GOOD; PERHAPS THERE ARE NEW OWNERS? TRY GREAT CHINA; I HEAR IT'S GOOD.

Always great food, probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. The place is nice inside despite the outside doesn't look that impressive. Came here with just my husband and with group of friends before, it's easy to order either way, and the price is very reasonable.
