This place deserves nothing more than 1/5 stars. Food is okay, but customer service is basically non-existent. Be prepared to wait at least 40 minutes for your food. Also the waiter/owner will never come and ask to see if you need anything. If you are gonna take my money, you should at least provide a decent customer service, but not at this place. I am never going back in this place.

this is the wonderful place we take all our friends especially when we just return from Nepal to tell the stories. The food is excellent authentic fresh and homemade, incl. their rice beer and the family exudes the sweet home feeling of the Himalayas. We love you Kathmandu Restaurant!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was here with my friends for a dinner around 0820 pm. We did not get our dinner and even our ordered drinks till 9 pm. They cheated us with their evil practices. They took our order and decided to tell us after delivering our food that they were out of rice. She did not even apologize. She expected us to eat our curry without the rice. It's ridiculous. We had to ask for roti afterwards and she did not even offer us any. This is definitely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Now, I am Nepalese and they are also. She was paying more attention to the other group of customers than us as I noticed. I hated it. When we ordered our drink, she brought us the smaller portion even though we ordered the big one. Her excuse-"I can't reseal the big bottle after opening it." She tells me that the bigger and smaller portions cost the same. She charged me $15 dollars for those three smaller portions. We were planning to divide the bigger portions between each other, but she was trying to make extra money by charging us more. I am never returning to this place again. Food is not that great for their prices either. Be cautious, they have shady practices.

I'm surprised this place is not more crowded than it is. Consistently good, authentic food

Best Pad Thai in the Bay Area, and ultra friendly staff. This is THE spot!
