First of all, I have to thanks Alex, he is the only one among 5 stuffs know what to do! He is the only one takes order, prepare order. Over 10 customer was waiting in line, other works just walk back and force, mopping floor, standing next to stove watching nothing, doing nothing. Very bad management. Alex definitely deserve $15 min. pay, but others really doubt about it.

I'm comparing my experience here with the El Pollo Loco located outside of Pasadena City College. 1, This place is dirty. The tables and floors are usually not cleaned. 2, The wait is long. Whenever I come here, there's like 4 people waiting, and it takes about 15 min. just to get through all of them. 3, The service is slow. At Pasadena, once I order, I can get my food in less than 1 min. But over here, I usually have to wait for more than 5 min. 4, The staffs are lazy. I see more employees talking and doing their own thing than actually working. 5, The food tastes good tho, but I've encoutered a couple of times when they've ran out certain orders on the menu. If the manager/staff is reading this, don't reply, just ask the people at Pasadena how they do it, and learn from them.

My advice for everyone who's ordering take out from this place is to count the pieces and make sure you get the side that you ordered. My order of 14 pieces of leg and thigh Grand value family meal place today with cashier Jonathan , order #20 at 5:30 p.m. on March 11th 2018 was found to have two major issues. Instead of 14 pieces of chicken we received 12 and we got black beans instead of the pinto beans. Just be aware!

This place has slow customer service! The manager and cook always have an attitude! The worst part of all is that at lunch hour rush they never have chicken ready! How could u not have chicken the poor cashier always has to ask if they chicken available smh. That's why I prefer to go to the pollo loco in rosemead on Garvey Blvd they have great customer service the kind and they always have chicken ready in lunch ur rush kuddos to rosemead pollo loco and staff! Now san gabriel pollo loco needs to get it together
