If your plans are to eat as a family, then this is not the place for you. You'll all get to start your meals at separate times and if you ask for any side dishes know that you will be getting those either before or while after your meal is done and if you have any plans of seeing your waitress more than one time throughout your meal don't count on that because in order for you to want to see her or for her to check in with you you have to actually request her from a waiter or waitress that's not even yours. Fully staffed not that busy but the service was poor that to me is a shame when you have so many bodies working and yet my waitress was missing. Redwood City Applebee's has way better service then this one!!! Way Better!!!!!

Food is almost always good, and they fix it quickly to please. Once house fills, things start getting dirty. Greasy tables and wet/greasy chairs and booth seats, especially after a wait. Food scraps on glassware. Just check the utensils, use napkin to wipe your personal table space, ask for more napkins. Check salt and pepper shakers before use!

When we got there the young lady tried to place us at a table which was too close to other patrons as far as my wife and I were concerned... We wanted a quiet little spot where we could have a nice quiet dinner without feeling as if we were at a banquet house... When I explained to the young lady we want a quiet place away from everyone else so that we could have a semblance of privacy, she moved this one table over... We simply went to a table in the corner which was away from everyone else... A nice waitress came over and said that it is okay for us to sit there and she proceeded to pleasantly serves our table. That young lady that tried to sit us where we did not want to sit could learn something from Denny's, where they let you sit wherever you want to sit, if they're not cleaning that area or something like that... Our food was good, the waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable... we still like Applebee's and consider it to be one of the best comfort food places in Vallejo... Thank you
