I have been to Sweeties several times, usually for a late breakfast. The place is usually pretty busy with only a couple of servers on duty at time, yet they manage to take care of their customers without much of a delay. The restaurant itself is set up like most diners, a combination of tables, booths and counter seats. The place is clean but could use an updated decor. The food is good and although the menu is fairly large it doesn't hold any surprises, just the usual diner fare. I really like the chicken-fried steak and eggs.

Reminded me of a 50's type of place. Lots of windows and booths. The clientele are obviously locals who eat there a lot. The service was good. The food was very good and the portions where generous. It was also not too hard on the wallet.

I've been here twice in the last few weeks. The first time the food was excellent, so much so that we went back a week later for more. The second time, the food was mediocre. It was ok, but not nearly as good as the first time. We had a different waitress and there was a different cook the second time. I guess it's hit or miss on the quality depending on the cook.

Won't be back. Sunday afternoon, seated at 12:30. Moderately busy with 3 waitresses. 20 minutes before our food order was taken, then 30 minutes later the waitress came back and said they couldn't make my daughters order, they were out of strawberries. This, after 50 minutes of waiting. Unacceptable. I pd for our drinks, and we went to IHOP. 30 minutes after leaving, food is on our table at IHOP.

Very friendly staff. Dinner with brandy creek mushroom chicken unique and exceptional. Salads, pulled pork, beef & Cod, are so good. Highly recommend
