-2 Stars for overcooked rice in a sushi restaurant. Overall a solid place for decent Japanese cuisine, this is the best place I have been to in Antioch and Pittsburgh area. 5/5 for freshness of fish 5/5 for service, the nice staff really makes you want to come back. 2/5 for rice, really important for me in any sushi restaurant Other Notes: the green tea ice cream is no good. Tastes almost like straight vanilla. Avoid going at the end of the night. I made the mistake of ordering to go 30min before closing and the fish smelled rotten. Couldn't even eat most of it. But I blame myself for that one. I will definitely come back again

There’s so many wonderful things about this place. We love Teddy and the staff. Our daughter really enjoys the beautiful fish tank. The food is out of this world delicious. Some of the absolute best sushi we’ve had. The seafood salad is amazing. I could eat here almost everyday

Okawa always has fast and fresh service! All sushi is made to order so you can request additions or substitutions beforehand and with a menu that has basically every sushi roll you can ask for I'm never disappointed. Sure I have my favorite (Lion King with deep fried topping yummy!) But I try new ones now and then and never get disappointed! They have the best sushi I have had this side of the bay and if you dine in it's such a good experience from the Swift service of the waitress to the beautiful fish tank and dish wear it's just gives you a good mood being there.

Love the service here! Fast, friendly and fast lol. I recommend the Philadelphia roll, the dragon roll and the shrimp tempura. Pro tip:When you dine in you get free soup!
