High quality sushi. Fresh - meat firm and not goopy like some other places- Very good customer service. Comfortable atmosphere. You do need to ask for wild caught sushi as opposed to farmed, but at least they have it- as opposed to other places.

Great food with decent portion sizes. The staff has been friendly, the restaurant and bathrooms are kept clean. You need a code for the bathroom as it belongs to the hotel. The restaurant is located within the hotel/underneath, in the lobby area. It is right in the Arcata Plaza. The atmosphere is great , a good spot for date night. The menu can be a little pricey depending on what you get but for the amount of food & quality it is worth it. I would recommend it and go again.

Really nice setting. Friendly staff too. A little pricey considering there aren't actually any Japanese sushi chefs and also the non-traditional upscale setting, but a really great place to take a date.

Food was amazing and a great family setting. Our server Echo was on point! She made some suggestions that my lady and I thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be back with the type of service and food Tomo had to offer. Thanks again Echo!!

I can't believe this place is still in business. I ate here back in the mid 1990s and the food was good: I'd had better sushi before, but the prices were fairly reasonable, the food was better than fair and I never got too sick after a meal. The one major drawback back then was that the sushiman was a white guy, and a surly hick of a white guy at that. He was largely uncommunicative, which was uncomfortable because--back then--the bar only had about 5 seats. I'm used to boisterous, fun, Japanese sushimen who are a blast to get drunk, because then they give huge servings. This guy never drank, never smiled and his sushi tasted like it was made by a honkey... and it was But I've had worse.
