(EDIT 3/30/18: Tried the place again after it was under new ownership. The pizza was so much better, cooked with care and had no burnt cheese on top. Savory, with enough cheese and sauce. The crust is my favorite part and the same recipe as before, which I like. Definitely worth trying. 4 stars.) I ordered a medium pepperoni just before closing. $16. Fairly steep for a medium when many other places in Grover give you two for that price. I was promised their pizza is such good quality that it makes up for it. Unfortunately, they throw cheese on top, over the pepperoni unevenly so it burns quickly and becomes a hard layer. Mine was black on that layer instead of the golden brown I saw in other photos. I couldn't taste the quality ingredients as well as I could. The crust was very good though, but I'm still on a quest to find a good pie with stretchy, stringy cheese in the Five Cities area. May try again someday, but doubtful. It was good enough to see why many people might like it so I give three stars.

Sadly, under new ownership. You are told 40 minutes for a pizza only to end up arriving on time and being told it will be an hour. This has happened to me a few times. My pizza was not made the way I asked either and the new owner could care less. They use to be an excellent pizza place. Save your money and time go elsewhere!

Bit on the pricier side compared to other places in the area. I looove their calzones, though! Get extra of the sauce that comes with it. Wings are also pretty good. Friendly folks working here.

It just changed owners again. Deb was the best, Tony was great too, new owners used Cafe Runner to "deliver" and we we're not informed that was going to be the case otherwise we would have picked it up ourselves instead of paying an extra $8 for CR. Sad to see such a great place start to lose it's greatness due to yucky owners.

By chance found this place on Google while on our way to pismo for the weekend. The owner of the shop is a sweetheart and wish him all the best on his new endeavor of being a pizza restaurant owner. The pizza is fantastic! We could not believe the size of the XX-lg! Thanks Doughboy's!
