I used to work there. The owners, Steve and Jane, we're super cool and would have staff holiday parties. The place was clean and well-run and the food was awesome. All day I would surf and dream of sushi. Then after my night shift, we would place orders before the fish got put away and I would come home with a big bad of sushi and a fist full of cash tips. I work as a full time hospital physician now and still daydream about those good times.

Best sushi ever. Love being part of the family. They are the best Update 2/17/18 We hadn't been there for six months and it was like we never missed a weekend. The Yamato family proved once again that they are the best in the five cities. Steve, Sam, Cristine,, Nate, and the all too beautiful "Lauren " were on their game again. Thanks all for the wonderful evening. Always fun and delicious. Steve's creative dishes and knife skills are second to none. You got to go!

The best sushi I've ever had. I used to work next store and eat there at least twice week. I moved to Fresno just over a year ago and I miss it so much!! I get it every time I go to the coast. Friendly staff and the best sushi rolls anywhere.

Everything here is fantastic from the appetizers to the atmosphere. I have lived on the central coast for almost 30 years and I won't go anywhere else. SHHHHH! secret menu: "Jiffy Roll"
