Enjoyed a cozy dinner at Left Bank in Menlo Park for a company Christmas dinner in mid December 2017. We were seated in a private room upstairs. There were about 30 people in our group. The food was good and the servers attending our group were friendly. They did not have many choices for si me selection not did they have good tequilas. The wait time was not too bar considering our group size. Parking was a challenge, we had to circle the block before finding street parking nearby.

The setting is beautiful. The tile floors, tables and chairs, the art all look like you're in Paris, only with lots of space around the tables and 20' ceilings. Lunch was nice, the fries were hot and crisp. Decent service and the price was actually cheap for the area.

Left Bank never disappoints. We have been enjoying their food for many years to celebrate family birthdays and other special occasions. One highlight for me is the kids menu has salmon on it and both my kids love it. To keep the kids occupied they get to color all over the table as it's topped with white paper that is replaced for each seating. Great restaurant for families and a top on our local list.

Pretty good food. Waiter was inattentive and literally turned to another table while one of our guests was in mid sentence. Our guest ask for a recommendation for a small dinner salad, the waiter handed him back the menu. Really not the level of service I would expect at a restaurant of this cost and reputation. I do remember it used to be a good place years ago.
