One of my friends has loved this place since childhood so since we were in the area we decided to have an early dinner there. The crust is what makes this pizza special, its lightly crisp on the bottom like a cross between the best pan pizza and a traditional crust. It tastes like fresh baked bread and crackers all rolled into one. They offer a generous single serve size if your group can't decide on toppings you can each get your own, or up it like I did to a small and have some leftovers. Its counter service and seat yourself, definitely try it if you're in the area. Its right across the street from Kepler's Books, so if you're a bookworm like me that can spend a whole day in there, heres a perfect spot to refuel while reading your latest acquisition.

Used to be my favorite pizza place, but this is the last straw. I got a pizza to go and specifically said NO CHEESE because I am allergic to dairy. The employee taking my order confirmed that she understood. I opened the pizza when I got home and it was COVERED in cheese. I have to throw away almost $20 of food because I can’t eat the pizza. I won’t be coming back. AVOID this place if you have any food allergies.

Pizza is good. My kids liked it. The garlic bread is fried bread with a piece of garlic. Didn't care for it much but my wife liked it a lot.

Voluminous pizza crust that makes for tasty remnants of the day with very stringy mozzarella cheese, juicy pineapple bits and savory ham slices sprinkled with lively fresh basil. Many enchanting choices. One bite ends with a third or even fourth slice. Pizza joint is aged and stained with flavors of past pizzas. This is pizza is as American as apple pie.

Place used to maintain legendary status in my mind. Still has that low key pizzaria charm but the stuff has waned. Had a 50-50 bbq chicken and Budapest. One was much too salty and the other had a gamey chicken quality.. I'll let you sort out which is which. Ahwell at least the crust kept the mantel.
