If you're in the area and want to eat at a place that feels like it should be on a pier hanging over the ocean, go to Cook's. From the outside, Cook's Seafood resembles a hole in the wall diner but looks are definitely deceiving. This place has the best fish and chips around. And the clam chowder is the real deal. The chowder has fresh clams, nice amount of potatoes, and is super rich and creamy. I always get the cod 3 piece fish and chips and an 8 oz of clam chowder. (My sons share with the fish). The prices are low compared to the quality and the service is very fast. The best part is they have a lot of parking so it's really easy to go. After you eat, you can stroll over to the other side of the place and stock up on fish and seafood for home.

To me Cooks is best because they fly in their fish from Alaska. Its very pricey I had a cup of Cioppino, a large fresh carb salad, and an order of Clams n chips. Excellent ! It better be for $45 + tip. YIKES ! I could hear my Dad like I was a youngster " You didn't eat it all ! " Eyes bigger than your stomach ??

I love Cooks. My family has been coming here forever and their food has always been so delicious! My favorite dish is the salmon and chips, Cooks chips are really a cut above the rest, totally rivaled the best chips I had even in England and Ireland. But everyone can find something delicious here...if you love fish!

I was craving seafood! They have life and fresh fish!!!! Lots of delicious menu choices. I can see the chefs making the food. This place is very fancy. We got a bottle of wine to enjoy with our meals! The staff is so friendly

I had the grilled halibut with mixed veggies and rice for about $14, and it was quite good. I also got a side of fries to pass the time until my entre arrived. They were big, hot, crisp and tasty. But their service was so prompt that my meal arrived before my fries were gone—a high class problem!
