Phone the food is spectacular the service is a cut above the best. The facilities are clean with a spectacular crew of service. 5 stars highly recommend for a first adventure. The deserts are yummy. This restaurant is to me comparative to the past owner, Marie Calendar whom i was not happy when they closed up. "Everything was Fresh" John C. Local Merced California area.

They were squeezing fresh oranges for their orange juice and they gave me and my 2 sons a sample...oh boy was it delicious!! Customer service was outstanding. The eggs benedict were the best I've ever had. Kudos to the chef! Kudos to the staff and management!

You get a lot of food at a great price here! The people who have seated and served us have been kind, even conversational, every time I've gone here with my family. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, and if you're worried about missing sports news or a big game, chances are it will be on one of the televisions there. They also offer some cute merchandise for purchase, such as slippers and pajamas, as well as their hot sauces. I would definitely recommend this place for your next breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner!

Good, varied menu. The food was well-prepared and delicious. The chain seems to have changed a little in recent months; my family noticed that the portion sizes seem to have decreased slightly from the heaping plates Black Bear was once famous for.

Best family restaurant. Great food and great vibe. Staff is super friendly. If you go early in the morning you might see server Vicky. She's a sweetheart!
