While traveling from CA to SC we needed a place to park our RV to spend the night. Idle Spurs advertised that they had free RV parking. So we stopped in and enjoyed a delicious meal before retiring for the night. To get to the restaurant we had to wind through some back streets but it was worth it. It may not look as inviting from the outside but walk through the doors and you will see why this place is rated 5 stars. A nice mix of lots of vintage and historical decor surrounds you in comfortable seating. And the food is excellent, and reasonably priced for a steak house. And there was plenty of room to park our motorhome. I'm glad we stopped.

Very disappointed with mother's day dinner. Have eaten here for the last 35 years and it has always been excellent. Had reservations for 5 got in there at 430 and where seated right away, drinks arrived in a few minutes fine, but here is the bad part ordered prime rib rare rare and was told they only had med rare. Hell they had only been open 30 minutes and the rare prime rib was all gone. Well ordered z walk in ng rare NY steak it arrived med at best My wife ordered lobster it came like rubber well over cooked. The baked potato was small and Lukewarm . Desert time my wife saw peach cobbler on the menu that what she wanted but guess what they didn't have any of that. So we ordered a 2 slices of the 6 layer chocolate cake guess what they were also out of that. To top it off not once did the waitress come back and ask us how our food was(she must have known). After all this was mothers day and you think they would be better stocked up for this event. Yes I will eat there again because it had always been good, but I will think twice about eating there on holidays.

Very lovely place to have a date night. The garden is beautiful and gives your dining experience another level. The food is awesome. There steak salad is one of the best I ever had! Don't forget to save room for dessert!! There cobbler is one you won't want to pass up. If your thinking of sharing it don't. Its so good you will be fighting over the last bite! The service is amazing! They are very attentive and friendly!! It is a little or of the way but it's well worth the effort to go the extra mile!! You seriously won't regret it.

We have been coming here for years. Always a great meal with fair prices. We had steak and lobster this time. Very good and cooked perfect. Also had clam chowder soup. We shared a bottle of wine. We will be back.
