I love The Van's. Today I had the an awesome Caesar Salad and poached river Salmon with sauteed mushrooms for lunch. Perfectly prepared and truly fantastic. The service was great as always. I had a young blood named Charles who was enjoyable, smooth-as-silk, and on top of his server game. I've been eating there for quite a while and just the sweeping view alone is worth a visit. That said, everything is always First Rate, Top Shelf, and Full of Class.

Reminds me of Authentic San Francisco and great dining. Great view of the entire bay. Good food. Great service. A little pricey 🤑 Banquet room good place for any occasion 😙

Honestly I really enjoy the atmosphere and the owner is a joy to be around. The food is really good but it does lack consistency. One day I will have arguably the best prime rib I have ever had. And on the other hand I could also have a very fatty lackluster piece of meat. The fans found a way to be a hundred percent consistent with their food it would make a big difference. Also even though the waiter being very accurate and quick he lacks ambience. I feel at this price point there should be a little more connection between the server and the customer.

Love this place. Great food and easy to miss with all the other steak houses around. Service is impecable but still one of my favorites on Peninsula.

Nice place to eat lunch. Very attentive staff. Plus Jan Wahl spoke about the entertainment world as well.
