Wonderfully attentive & friendly service staff. Fantastic views of the Bay from many vantage points within the restaurant. In mild weather enjoying the terrace/patio is an absolute must! Hearty & filling sized portions. Nice variety of tasty seafood and "Other Dead Things" ðŸ˜€ ! Every occasion I have dined there, I have thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, service and especially the meals.

Went there for my mom's birthday because we've been there before and enjoyed it. It was crowded because they had over 800 reservations. The service was friendly. I had the linguine and clams and was surprised to find the pasta was black (they dyed it with squid ink) and the clams were not peeled (I had no trouble, though). The food was good, though. I also had a salad, which was good. Everyone else seemed satisfied with their meals.

A bit pricey but good food. I had the Clams, Mussels, Shrimp in Cioppino Sauce. Love the fresh baked rolls. Couples like this for a dinner date. They have outdoor seating as well as indoors. Pretty good wine selection.

One of my favorite restaurants and my go to spot every year for my birthday. The Dead Fish has a great atmosphere for close conversation as it has many tucked away booths and low lighting which give a feeling of privacy and intimacy. There is also a great bar area that would be great for sitting and watching a game while enjoying some appetizers and/or drinks. There's an outdoor seating area as well and on a beautiful night, it's perfect - the view of the Carquinez Bridge is gorgeous! The decor of the restaurant really ties it all together perfectly. The Dead Fish has got a quirky feel to it that magically allows it to be fancy and casual at the same time so no matter the occasion, you're good to go!

Took my wife here for surf and turf. We ordered two prime rib dinners, a whole crab, and a side of shrimp. The dinners came with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. All of the food was good, I ate all of the spinach and wanted more, but the steak and crab were both amazing. The service was great, and we will definitely go back again when we are in the area. I would recommend the Dead Fish to anyone who appreciates a good crust on their prime rib and perfectly seasoned crab.
