Great lunchtime buffet. Fast and friendly service. The buffet includes a couple of unusual items, with a good mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The number of items is not all that large, which is probably better for keeping things fresh. Very spacious interior.

One of the best restaurants in Berkeley. I came with my professors and colleagues. We really enjoyed the food and interior was also neat and clean. I loved the tea! It was so yummy. They served Naan so fresh and hot. I recommend this restaurant to my friends and everyone. All those who served us there including cashier, they were all so nice. Full marks! We will come again to eat halal chicken and meat. Hopefully, halal food is starting next month.

I though service was mediocre.... servers are mostly in the back we went to an empty restaurant around 8pm off university ave, had to call someone to have us seated.. soon after more guests started coming it appeared as if the owner and son were having a busy time catching up with the orders.... tables weren't getting waited on time the order of wait was all over two tables came in after us got there food first, ordered the lamb kebab it was dry and salty. Only highlight was that the food was sizzling. Rice was dry and hard. If the restaurant isn't busy please clean your restrooms important. One might argue that it's a old restaurant give it a break but cleanliness has nothing to do with old appreance.. especially when you are 2 blocks down from uc Berkley.... to be packed like other restaurant these people can come up with better customer service and wait skills. Food cooking style needs improving

What can you expect around Berkeley a lunch buffet for 10.99+tax. It is one of the best place for your Lunch Buffet. Being a regular customer of this place, I recommend everyone to visit and enjoy the indian taste whenever you are in Berkeley. Come and taste the experience of tandoori nite whenever you can. Also, enjoy the free wine whenever you are here for dinner.
