The only problem about this place is not to have enough room in your stomach to eat each plate that is displayed on the menu. Super delicious. I feel like in Marrakesh with all these sensual ingredients. I love the combination of sweetness and spiciness of this refined cuisine.

This place is awesome. We tried them for the first time during Berkeley restaurant week and we were not disappointed. Everything that we ordered from the prix fixe menu was so good. I particularly enjoyed the chicken liver salad and the duck pastry the most! We will be back to try their other stuff. Oh and the service was great too. All in all a really top notch dining experience.

Interesting food, well executed, at a reasonable price. I had the prix fixe menu with lots of choices. The lamb meatballs were an excellent second course.

During one visit, a friend and I had appetizers and drinks at the bar. We enjoyed our Casablanca and Moulin Rouge cocktails. The ginger orange scallops were delicious and the mushroom knaffe was tasty as well. Iâ€™m looking forward to coming back to try their nightly prix fixe three-course meal. Festive ambiance and friendly, attentive service. Update: I returned to the restaurant with a reservation for 8. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. The server forgot several appetizers, forgot to bring utensils, insisted that a guest order the prim fixe menu when she didnâ€™t want to do that. The server was frazzled and unhappy to be there. And she then overcharged me for the prix fixe menus. I contacted the restaurant the following morning and the manager promptly apologized and refunded the overcharge. Iâ€™ll look out for recent reviews and hope service for groups improves. In the meantime, I recommend only cocktails and scallops at the bar and to go elsewhere for a larger party.

Amazing meal last night! We came for the restaurant week special and absolutely everything we had was wonderful. I particularly liked the lobster knaffe and the duck, so much flavor and just delicious sauces. I was worried when we sat down that service would be slow or the food would take some time because they were super busy, but we were well taken care of and the food was timed perfectly. They had a table waiting for our reservation right when we got there and we never had to call a waiter over or anything. Really great experience, highly recommended. Iâ€™m definitely coming back to try everything else!
