One of my favorites restaurants in Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley. I ordered the tamarind and lime and ginger sodas. They are house made and are amazing. The food was spectacular with tons of gluten free options that actually taste really good. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and bought gluten free bagels to take out. This Jewish cuisine restaurant is one of the best places to dine in Berkeley. The service was also very good. The only problem is finding parking which is difficult when you come after working hours.

Great brunch, the best corned beef on this side of the country. The rye bread they use is very different, but delicious. Usually a good 20-30 minute wait on weekends for a table is expected. Fantastic pickles served on the tables included. Yes, they will even get you more if you ask. Really good potato latkes offered as a side dish. They do serve drinks as well. Super friendly staff and prices are pretty much average for a great brunch place. Save some room for the desserts, or you can get them to go at the deli counter.

This place is incredible! I love love love the look, feel and over all atmosphere of Saul’s. The people are super nice and upbeat. The food is phenomenal (so far I’ve had the shashuka and the corn beef hash - both dishes were amazing!) and my favorite is the deli part of the restaurant. Their homemade white fish, chicken livers, pickles and cheese cake are delicious. If I could eat here everyday, I would! Come early because there is always a line!

This is the breakfast place to go when we plan to go for our motorcycle ride. Been there at least 3 to 4 times and every time we came out happy and satisfied. Omelette is great and their orange juice is fresh. Service has been great and overall positive reaction. Highly recommended.

I love Saul's. Been coming for years. It's still great - well... good to really good - after a few makeovers. Folks are friendly, which is lovely. True to the current tech boom and the lasting effects of prop 13 in No Berkeley, the prices have officially just become ludicrous.
