A great family owned place; large portions and good quality fish. Their specials are also delicious. Can be slow service, at times when they are busy, but I️ find the food worth the wait, with plenty of leftovers. Definitely my go-to sushi joint in North Berkeley!

I am honestly not able to recommend this place. We waited by door for ~5mins before being noticed and getting a seat (off peak time, lots of free tables). I went for the beef ramen ($11) which was surprisingly poor. The soup was thin and without much flavour, the beef was of low quality, and the egg was badly poached. The service was surley from start to finish.

I really like this place. The food is delicious. Quite a variety of good food on the menu. The atmosphere is comfortable, clean and quiet. The service is good. Parking is easy. It's about $16-20 for a healthy satisfying delish meal. Been going here off and on for about 10 years, I'm finally writing a review because I was checking the Sunday hours and noticed a two star bad review and figure the reviewer must have been having a bad day or something. I've never had a complaint in all these years. It's my go to place when family or friends are in town. It's uncomplicated and quiet enough to enjoy a good conversation.

The quality is amazing and prices half of other restaurants. The size of the specialty rolls are huge.

Recently discovered his place. Already been twice. The portions are large, the fish is fresh, the tempura batter was air light and delicious. No frills interior and it's been quiet both times I've visited. I added a photo of the Aloha roll. The double hamachi roll special is so yummy. The hamachi was melt in your mouth good. Will be back again soon.
