Great take on Mexican good but it’s still just Mexican food. Just because it’s vegan it doesn’t make it healthy. The plates were very oily and very salty. The reason I had to give it three out of five is because I have to compare it to other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. The best part of the restaurant that’s for sure the margaritas so in the future I might stick to just grabbing drinks here. This is not as upscale as crossroad but is about the same price as crossroad. For two starters one side and one entry with the desert and two drinks it comes out to $150 for two people. That’s with tax and tip included. So it’s about $75-$80 per person for Mexican food which I find pretty expensive! I would definitely come back here for drinks but I think I would take a pass on the food.

My GF and I were visiting LA and decided to try this place because we love Mexican and it had a great atmosphere. Upon looking at the menu, I noticed that there were no plates with meat. I asked the waitress and she said it was a vegan restaurant. Although we are not vegan, we decided to give it a try. Food was amazing! Atmosphere was incredible. Service was excellent. I have no complaints and we felt great about being adventurous! Definitely check this place out whether you're vegan or not!

Best best best vegan Mexican place ever!!!! Love the ambiance and the staff are very accommodating, the wait sometimes can be long but worth it. Their spicy margarita pitcher is over priced but tastes soooo good! Great place to hit with a group of friends and have a great time. Wish they have music in the background to somehow cover the loudness of people .

Not usually one to go for vegan or vegetarian food, bit this was exceptional. No eggs unfortunately for breakfast but delicious assortment of choices, tacos and Mexican flavours abound. Book a table for breakfast and bring your appetite as you won't be disappointed. Grab a ginger tea or fresh orange juice and enjoy a relaxing breakfast.

Sadly I cannot comment on the food as I was not served at all. The host at the door was fairly rude and seemed reluctant to offer me a table (she suggested I sit at the bar). Once I sat down, I was ignored by every member of staff. I tried to make eye contact but they just walked past. After about 20 minutes of waiting with the menu, I took my business elsewhere. Perhaps it was because I'm a woman on my own. But it made me feel really horrible and insignificant. I'm sure the food is lovely. But I don't want to give my money to a place that does not treat ALL customers with respect and kindness.
