PLEASE read the reviews before go HERE!!! Is the worst restaurant We ever been! We just ate, and you don’t have an idea how awful is this place. The food was disgusting, the service was terrible. Quality of the food was very low for the prices DO NOT eat here. I had to stand up and get my own sauce and place my order, it was just one waitress who didn’t it Care. The rolls are the worst. I am so sad to choose this restaurant to eat in Big Bear. To finalize, the glass of water was too dirty, and anyone bring us water ☹️😞 and I could say more things, just in all the aspects, WORST PLACE ever!

Careful with the avocado roll, they have 2 with the exact same name, of course there's no explanation for this so you try to get an avocado roll and end up getting a piece of avocado rolled in rice, if you want the other one however it costs about 4 times the price they originally advertised, maybe its a mistake but the place seems shady. Also they take forever to serve you and the old lady will just ignore you most of the time. You may like it but i wouln't risk it

We are locals so have tried this place a few times. There are only two sushi places in Big Bear so not a lot of choices. The old lady that owns the place will not let the service waiter do their job and interferes. I can't count the number of people she has had just in the last few months. As a result expect wrong orders to be put on your table and then a few minutes later she will pick it up and give it to someone else. The last time we were there with friends (and the last for us!) we sat down rather quickly and the waiter gave us water. (She would not let him take our order.) After 10 minutes of waiting I got up and got menus for everyone. Another 15 minutes and still no one came by to take our order. I went into the kitchen (yep, that's right) and told her we had been waiting for 25 minutes. She came out 5 minutes later and we started to order a sushi boat. She then told us that that would take too long to prepare and to please select something else! This was two hours before their closing time. This is sushi- no cooking!!! Well, all six of us packed up and left to go up the street to Pongs. We walked in, they took our order within seconds of us arriving and the food was served within 10 minutes and it was great. This owner will be the death of this place.

Anyone who is complaining about how long it takes, doesn't understand sushi. It is an art form and Fuji does a great job I especially enjoyed their three color delight. Service was great I couldn't even run out of water.

This is a hidden treasure in here Big Bear. I lived in Japan and Fuji Restaurant, was like being transported back to Japan. The food was fresh and wonderful. The staff was friendly, helpful, and charming. The atmosphere was endearing as it brought a flood of treasured memories. Don't miss out on their incredible Japanese food/sushi.
