If only they could make the food taste as good as it looks on their commercials! I don't get to a Popeye's very often, maybe once a year, but I'm always disappointed in their food. This last trip was especially greasy and left my friend and I feeling blah afterwards. We really wished we had chosen a different place to eat while on the road to Tubac. I might try it one last time some day, but I'd rather get back to Louisiana for some real down south cooking.

Super good chicken, nice and hot and super fresh. Biscuits baked perfectly. Also this store is very clean, I know it's brand new but it shows it's being well taken care of so far. The only comment I have it is slightly hard to see as it is off the main street behind a mobile and an atm.

We stopped here for lunch on our way back to Minnesota. The place had a funny smell to it, service was a bit slow, but they seemed a little understaffed the day we were there. Not the cleanest either. Food was not the greatest either. First time at a Popeyes, and I was not impressed.

We drove in and parked. Walked in on the manager who was thanking an employee for their work. Now that's nice. The manager was pleasant. He impressed the wife. She was so happy that she said we will be back..great job guys/girls..keep up the smiles, the thank you's, you effort makes us happy..Thank you....

Took a VERY long time in drive through for 2 meals (not being impatient but lobby was EMPTY and drive-thru girl was more concerned with going to stand beside a guy sitting at a table than worry about orders to be filled & served to people waiting... We ordered, pulled straight around to window, and waited nearly 6 minutes for her to take payment then another 8 minutes to be served food that was NOT cooked fresh). Chicken breast was dry (like was overcooked and held under heat lamp way too long), but everything else was alright (considering we were tired from driving 14+ hours during a cross-country trip and wanted to eat and go to sleep at the hotel). Wouldn't recommend if you are in a hurry or if you prefer Popeyes to actually be fresh. Other than that - meh.
