On my quest for the perfect rack of baby back ribs this was another good find. The ribs were about a 95 out of 100 points. Not quite perfect but much better than most. I did not like the beans, but saw a lot of people requesting them. Personal taste. My wife loved them. The slaw was great. The owner was overseeing everything and jumped to help each customer personally. My only complaint was that I had to buy water. Quartzsite city water needs to be filtered. Otherwise a great meal.

Wow, one rack of ribs, 2 meals and a side of beans for $94! All of the prices that were shown on their website were significantly higher when it came time to pay. For example, their 24 oz beans had an online price of $8 and when I paid they had rung them up at $16!! When I questioned the lady, she said they don't make the website, they don't have anything to do with that. Exorbitant prices aside, here's the food: I asked for extra BBQ sauce (expecting to have to pay for it), they made a point of telling me they added an extra BBQ, charged me for what they included but never gave any BBQ to go with the food we ordered (ultimately, we were charged for the extra and never got what was supposed to come with the food). The sauce tasted closer to sweet and sour sauce than it did any kind of barbecue sauce. The food was okay, but guess that for nearly a hundred dollars, I really expected a lot more. As I was leaving with our to go order, I noticed the bags of chips that were next to our bags of food. I asked if they were ours, and the lady said that ours were in the bags and put away the small bags of chips. Upon getting home, there were no chips, which were supposed to be accompanied with the meals. In the end, I guess it's good I got out of there with my wallet!! We will NOT be returning.

We stopped for lunch on our way out of town and our meal was faster than if we had gone to a chain restaurant and 100 percent tastier. We ordered pulled pork and the beef sandwich and both were excellent. Fresh hot coffee was served and the restroom is clean.

My wife and I have eaten dinner twice there, and lunch twice. We liked the sandwiches the best. Tri tip and pulled pork. The steaks are kinda iffy, salty and undercooked.
