really like Kang Ho Dong when I was in LA. I couldn't imagine that Buena Park has one too, hence I rushed here to give it a try. However, I'm still somewhat disappointed to this restaurant, and may not come here. First, the meat portion is too small! I ordered a small beef combo with three kinds of meat. The short rib comes with only two small pieces, very thin and small portion. I was totally shocked. So does the brisket. I remembered that Kang Ho Dong should not be such small portion restaurant!! Banchans are good! I do recommend their ban hand and soy bean paste soup! Lastly, their service is just ridiculous! They push you to tip more. Yeah they push you and looked at the receipt to see the tip amount directly when you are signing.

This was my first experience eating Korean BBQ and I loved it! It's a unique dining experience as everything is cooked in the center of the table and the chef comes and goes while the food cooks. It is delicious. I went on vacation and would go often if it was in my hometown.

This place was fire! For like 50 bucks 3 of us ate til we were full. You walk in and immediately they serve you a green tea water mix. It's soooooo good. The meat was super fresh and super well cut. We got 2 small steaks a bigger steak and a whole bunch of strip steak to go with the toppings. They cook it for you right there and it's delicious. Definitely stop by.

Very terrible service. There are three of us, all girls. We don’t eat a lot, so we only ordered 4 small portions of meats which is their minimum requirement. However, we still can’t finished it. It took the serve very long time to cook the meat. It took us an hour and half in there. Most of the meats he cooked was not even done right. Very raw. He constantly turn the grill low because he can walk away to do something else. We turn from hungry to not able to eat anymore because of the long wait for the meat to cook in front of you. Some of the meats even dipped in the egg by accident because when he flapped the meat, it went into the egg on the side. The server looked like not even want to be there to serve us. It made us very uncomfortable. I wished I had took down his name so I can post it here. Anyway, this is not the first time that we bad experience at this restaurant in this location. Not going back at all.

This place has got some quality meats and is really best suited for a date or a small group of people. My favorites are the porkbelly or short ribs, but you cant go wrong with the meats. Keep in mind parking is minimal during peak hours and dont expect to leave overwhelming full. This is a pay by plate place and they charge you in full for both meat and service. Everything is cooked for you to a medium rare. Expect to wait about half an hour to an hour and spend at least $40 a person.
