AMAZING. best fried chicken ever and the mashed potatoes were delectable. Quality food and fast service. Also, there is unlimited free biscuits and the signature boysenberry jam. Comes with free dessert in the meal. Giant tasty meal for a super great price. I would give it a ten if I could.

This restaurant always baffles me. Their chicken seems bland and lacks the spark that visitors give it praise for. The service could've been better, but that always can be attributed to how busy the restaurant gets. Keep your expectations of their famous chicken low and you will surely enjoy it. As for their other food, the pot pie dinner just doesn't stack up to the other dinners in regards to how much you get on your plate, but does have more flavor than the chicken dinner.

Used open table to make reservations 2 days before. We arrived 30 mins early and we were seated within 15 minutes. Hosts and servers were just very blah. The server was informative but not at all lively. I know its not Disneyland and it was kind of late (9:15pm) but it would be nice to feel welcome and they are happy to serve you. We ended up taking our dessert to go to eat in our hotel room. As far as the food goes, dinner portions are HUGE. If getting chicken dinner for $21.99 I highly recommend splitting it between 2 people.

Great new look it has been awhile/years since u have been here. The mark of 1 star is because they no longer have the motherly servers that care about you like you are one of their own children. All the servers are young and are more concerned about the tip rather than the customer service. I guess these young servers did realize you need to show some sort of customer service to receive a tip. The server was sad to say was done for the day before we were even seated. The manager did not follow through with what she had stated in taking over the station to finish my parties service. On top of that the fire alarm continued to go off but no explanation or apologies. The server continued to not bring out plates for biscuits, and even brought dirty plates for the sides. They even forgot to celebrate the birthday person. The server never ounce apologized for -Not checking in in us -bringing dirty plates -bringing biscuits without serving plates -never asking about refills -Not providing jam preserves or butter for the to go order -forgetting the birthday girl But the server sure did remember to blame everyone else for her faults when collecting the tip. I understand if her day is going bad but taking out in a customer is never acceptable.

When I was a kid I remember having the best fried chicken at Mrs. Knott's. This was the first time I went as an adult. It was okay. The service was good but the food was ho-hum. No, some of the food was ho-hum. The biscuits are amazing. I could have sat there all night and ate biscuits. The chicken would have been delicious if it had seasoning. There wasn't enough salt and pepper to make it delicious. The sides were meh. The drinks were expensive and when we got milk it was warm.
