Terrible service! And on mother's day! Short ribs were dry, took forever to get the Check the waitress flat out ignored The table, it's a miracle we were able to flag her down for refills. The waitress was rude and cold overall. She acted differently with the tables around us. She gave us flat sprite then acted annoyed when she was asked to bring new ones. She poured water in our sprite later on.. dropped an ice cube right in my mom's food! Didn't apologize. Waitress was a young white girl with glasses. I seriously regret even leaving her the 15% tip. I guess she is not a fan of non white people. Such a shame, I use to really like this location. Get better staff! It's 2018 this is ridiculous!

I took my daughter for an impromptu dinner tonight. Our waiter was obviously very busy. Service was a bit slow because of it but he was apologetic. The food was fantastic. I felt bad for the man bussing and pouring water. He was so busy. The manager was not very present. He didn’t help his staff. I asked for My waiter because my dessert was not up to par. I have ordered the pineapple desert before and mine was literally a bunch of pineapple on a super thin burnt cake. The manager came out and practically threw the check at me saying “you wanted the check?” No pleasantries or anything. I explained that the cake was non-existent. He told me he wasn’t the chef he didn’t know. I asked if he was the manager. He said yes and I asked him didn’t he know his product? He was rude but took off the dessert. My server knew right away. Said that a few had come out that night looking that way. I’m shocked that a manager in a nice place has such poor service skills.

Roy's is a hidden gem in the valley. After living in the area for years, we found this place and wanted to try it out. The Hawaiian style restaurant is a cozy place perfect for romantic times and dates. The food is also amazing and we had a great time on our visit. Everything we ordered from appetizer to the dessert was delicious. Don't miss out.

Food is good! They do bottomless mimosas though it's not on their menu. Good bartenders and their staff are very friendly. Nice place to enjoy a good meal.

Made a dinner reservation for my boyfriend and I to celebrate his birthday. When I made the reservation, I noted that it was his birthday since MOST nicer/higher scale restaurants do something special for dessert. I know this from my years of working in hospitality as a concierge. Although it’s never expected and that’s fine, it always makes the meal special. The food was excellent, but the service was less than par. We had two different servers throughout our meal and it took us 2 hours to eat one appetizer and each having entrees due to the huge wait in between meals. Throughout the meal, one server kept pushing for us to order dessert and we were both full so we didn’t really want one. Towards the end of the meal, and after seeing various other tables have a dessert brought out with a candle, I had a feeling that if we didn’t pick a dessert, they’d bring one out regardless so we might as well tell him our preference. So when the server brought it up AGAIN, my boyfriend said the chcocolate dessert sounded great. After another 20+ minute wait, the server comes out with not just our dessert, but another one we didn’t order, I guess this one was the “freebie” dessert and it was so much food. The candle was a nice gesture and the dessert tasted great, but then we were charged $12 for the dessert. Not that we expected anything complimentary, it was just such an awkward and confusing interaction regarding the Birthday dessert. If you’re already going to bring a “free” birthday dessert, don’t bug us all night about ordering more dessert. It was way more than what we wanted to eat and to me, felt rude to push something if you’re restaurant is already honoring a complimentary dessert. We spent $160 before tipping, and we couldn’t get a comp birthday dessert? I’ve been to restaurants that are less caliber than here that always honored a comp dessert and didn’t push you to order another one.
